It got to 41.7 today with SW winds!

Ed, you got earliest guess at 3/15 but I think I am next at 3/31.

And based on historical data, temps rise avg of 5 deg / month. So I think its going to be close! Cool

For a Super Bowl it was very good. If the Hail Mary had been caught, Pats win.

The is a 50F bubble of water past Block Island. I dont think it will take much to push the colder cape water out.

http://staging.windalert.com/en-us/Search/ViewResults.aspx#34.705,-74.226,6

Looks to be about 20KM southwest of the Vineyard

Freakin Hatteras is already 60F.

Daylight savings time next week. Woohoo!!!!

I hope you're right, Ed, but looking at the graphs at http://marine.rutgers.edu/cool/sat_data/?nothumbs=0&product=sst&region=capecod, I doubt it. It's been warmer down there for most of the winter. The water temp in Pt. Judith has been about 6 F higher that in Kalmus for weeks. That's probably one reason why Pt. Judith has seen a nice SW days when winds in Kalmus were all over the place due to decoupling.
