The state of Illinois needs revenue...badly!

The unemployment rate in Illinois increase dramatically during the last few months. 12.2%?? or so now. This coincides with a large tax increase last year. So, while much of the rest of the country seems to be headed slightly up (lower unemployment rates) Illinois is getting worse.

I wonder why it is that states run by conservatives are so healthy, but the so msny liberal states are dying.

Because the fly-over red states take far more taxes from the Federal government than they pay. The tyranny of the minority!

I guess they are dangerous everywhere, and it is true that sometimes they act in a very violent manner.
