jingebritsen...ya, that video is one that convinced me to get the 11 5... the conditions are sorta similar to the onshore stuff we get here on the great lakes.. looks warmer though...
and that dtl shot, very cool.. does the 10 5 handle much differently than the 11 5?
damel..
ya, thats the kind of stuff im talkin about..

antonious said that the videographer showed late in the day. another frustration of mine, in particular, when i'm lucky enough to get someone to get a few shots of any sort. so his video is of guys that had sailed themselves to near exhaustion. that was a great day up and down the east coast of floirda. note the somewhat conservative moves due to tired sailors and no foot straps. that wave in jupiter and juno is very nice. the continental shelf drops off pretty close to shore and the gulf stream is very near too.
the 10'5 needs more wind, or a 100 lb sailor to pull off the nearly no wind stuff that i do with my 11'5. meanwhile, the 11'5 does not suffer much when the wind comes up. so, with the larger, i get more time on the waves, so i get in my exercise and conditioning in with the sport that i love. no need for much other stuff.

the Kona's can be used in "Real Waves" when the wind is light.
