dedicated racing paddle boards are probably capable of sailing, but planing, i do not know. doubt they are worth much wave riding, but i may never want to find out.
wind SUP does everything it is supposed to do, and one can teach on it. i sailed it in some 10 foot surf, and loved it. wasn't very fast down the line, but did turns top and bottom way better than expected both in and out of the straps.
same could be said about the kona one. does not teach as well, certainly doesn't paddle as well, but "can do" is all about it. how many other boards can claim as much? _________________ www.aerotechsails.com

Thanks all for the replies. It's a chunk of change but I'm gonna go for it. |
