I have alot of respect for the forecasters......i got lucky based on prior Chatham observations, but would not have predicted Buzzards Bay. I suspect Chapin sucked

To me it was something about the intense sunshine, and colder ocean air hitting the warmer Nantucket Sound, but that's where my education stops.

I don't think you can love this sport without wanting to be a part time meteorologist though.....it's really half the fun

Would be cool to sit around with a coffee mug at 5 am, chew through all kinds of fun maps, make a call, and then go sailing.....I would want a bank of monitors and a full on leather swivel- chair

Looks like the Cape got the best conditions in the North East as usual. Nothing good where I was so I repaired my SUP board and started making a box for my trailer.

There are the new forecaster's blogs that started on WindAlert, http://currents.windalert.com/category/wx/cape-cod/.
Would be interesting what kind of dialog would start if we could also post on it. Might turn into a bit of batters arguing with the umpire situation.

SUPed Nauset this am and it was head to a little over head. Sweet!!! little bumpy from the S breeze but not 2 bad. BB broke his leash. Getting out took some effort.
