Wyatt Miller and Tyson Poor Headed to Hatteras April 23-May3

Hey all you East Coast Sailors.

Tyson Poor and I will be headed out to Hatteras April 23rd - May 3rd. This will be my first time out there and I am super excited to check out the scene. Especially after the last couple of weeks of rainy nasty weather here in the SF Bay.

The two of us will be at Windfest in the Frisco Woods Campground April 29th-May 1st doing a couple of free clinics, most likely jibing, looping and freestyle stuff.

Then we will be doing a couple 2 day clinics with the Makani Fin Crew and Wind NC. They will both be "Jibing and Tricks Clinics" (billed differently on the poster).

Can't wait to get out there see the sights and drink a few frosty ones with you guys.

East coast rule is that the Clinic host is the one who supplies the beer.

and here is my advice, don't just do all your sailing at the campground, its not the best spot, SW is a big wind shadow there, and North is straight onshore. hook up with andy to let you know where to go for what wind direction etc.. should be good and windy that time of year!

im trying to coordinate the spring hatteras trip and the clinic sounds great

Sooooo gooooood!!! Lit 3.6, bump 'n' and jumpin' on the tabou quad at the Hole. If the last 5 or 6 weeks are any indication of what the rest of this Spring is going to be like- man, are we in for a doozy!! The water is warming up, the air is warming up, and the wind has been crankin'!

And, as HatterasJim says, you're welcome to call the shop or swing by anytime to get a spot recommendation... there's a constantly evolving launch guide on my website, too....

And YES, Frisco Woods Windfest is ON for April 28th-30th. Be There!!

Yea, fun but green SW side off wave sesh at Rmp 30 yesterday afternoon! Lit on the 4.5m and Quatro Quad 75. Only Keith, Jim, and I caught it along with some of the local kite crew. Cold water, but warm sunny weather on the ocean side!

Looking forward to the visiting crowd to come down and join us in the surf! Very Happy
