If you haven't already this year, it's time to go sailing! Who's in? Ron? SW and mid-morning low tide. |

Now that Iwindsurf sensor is operating at Kalmus again -- now using solar power -- I will watch the wind and plan to sail near low tide if the wind is up. Low tide is at 10:54 AM.
Intellicast predicts temp up to about 45F with sun and SW wind up to 21 mph at noon. Windguru predicts similar winds.
Hope to see at least some windsurfers.

OK. We're packed up and ready to roll. Looks like we'll have a small group of core sailors. Jerry, sorry you can't make it. Ron, just do it. You can be Driver B. Graham is Driver G (since he got his permit yesterday).

I know you have your hands full Jeff. Today, getting away from the family was not an option.
However, I did take a quick trip to Skaket to "check-it-out". A guy from Oregon was maxed out on a small kite riding a plain-old skim board. No straps and no fins. I can see a lot of appeal for riding the barely covered flats with that kind of setup.
Another day, RC |
