Glad you guys are getting on it! Nice pics, too. GoPro!

Regarding extra fin boxes- I'm super stoked that Tabou and Starboard invested in R+D for the Slot Box. It makes a very noticeable difference in the weight of multi fin boards. Enjoy the benefits of multi fin boards, with half of the weight gain.

Also, you guys may be interested in hearing about all of the multifin specific weed fins that are coming out for 2011. There are a ton of great choices from companies like MFC, Makani, KaKu, and more I'm sure. I'll have a bunch of demo fins available in Hatteras if you want to give them a try this Spring. No more hacksaws, sandpaper, fiberglass dust, and super inefficient foils!! Woohoo!!

Damel- you may find that you don't need two boards as long as you choose the right one. I've been sailing my Tabou quad 85 in winds from 15-35+ knots with no handling issues at all, at 165 pounds. I see absolutely no reason to get a smaller board for my needs. Although I did enjoy taking out my wife's 3.3 and 67 liter board the other day when it was gusting up towards 40 Very Happy Anyway, jumping wise, the quads seem to give a lot more grip and forward drive than the twins... I'm certainly jumping lower than when I go out on a FSW, but I'm also in much better control and having a substantially better time when I'm on a wave face. I LOVE to jump high, and I haven't been disappointed with my quad. It's fast enough, for sure.

Sorry for the longwinded, rambling post... Embarassed

Perhaps the Starboard Evo IQ 81 would be the perfect one board quiver for you, Damel?

Run it as a twin or single fin... Depending on conditions and goals!

NICE!!!
I waited for it to come down a bit here on Cape Cod and went out on a 4.2m (I was also hoping the rain would let up. It did not!) Here are a few Gopro shots. Check out the temp drop on the graph. Laughing

Great shots with to GoPro. But I suspect the sailor had something to do with it. Wow.
