After what I consider a horrible 9 month stretch, wind is back in Bonaire BIG TIME. I posted a few recent photos on my blog and will try to get more in the weeks to come.

Hey Ann, have seen your posts and hopefully will make it to Bonaire someday. Really looking for info on windsurfing in Nassau or neighboring islands of the Abacos or Eleuthera. Do you know anything about these places? Hard to find any on internet. Thanks if you have any info....

Longboard, I have been to the Abacos and know them well. Am not aware of anything in that area. Like many Caribbean islands, folks have their own rigs and then of course many hotels have crap for gear. I would say you aren't going to find much luck. There is a woman who was opening a windsurf and kite center in San Salvador but I lost track of her. Her name was Elena and she used to own Tornado Center in St. Lucia.

Keep us posted. Seriously, Bonaire is going off big time.

Thanks, Ann. Yes, I figured as much. Gonna have to do an exporation of those places around Nassau. So many flights into Nassau and then easy fast ferry rides to Eleuthera or the Abacos. At least there are nice surf breaks on both islands if not able to find windsurf gear. Great untapped windsurf potential there. Will definitely post what I find.....
