House Bill 239 calls for the owners of Ohio Valley Electric Corp. to receive a guarantee of income at times when the market price of electricity is less than the cost to operate the power plants. That money would come from a charge to consumers.
If the market shifts and the plants become profitable, customers would receive a credit.
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio already has approved a similar plan for AEP, which leads to a varying monthly charge that is now about $2 per month for a typical household.

The constant drone of the mac and Dean show continues, it's very similar to a case of tinnitus, that constant ringing in your ears that you can learn to tune out. Also like a street sweeper that drives around your block, again and again, until it starts to wear out the asphalt, which becomes very hard on the street sweeper.
Anyway, you must be so proud.

CA Democrat Party Chairman Leads “F*** Trump” Chant at Convention

John Burton is the outgoing chairman of the California Democratic Party. At Saturday’s Democratic Party Convention in Sacramento, Burton took the stage one last time to thank party workers, specifically the conference’s translators for the hearing impaired . Instead of letting the translators have their moment to bask in some well-earned gratitude, Burton interrupted the applause to raise his middle finger and lead the room in a vulgar chant.
“F*** Trump!”
In attendance was House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and former Labor Secretary Hilda Solis. The two looked on, smiling and laughing.
The incident isn’t shocking. Democratic Party representatives have been taking on a more vulgar tone since last November. A simple Google search will immediately turn up multiple incidents of party leaders and figure-heads cursing and using blue language (no pun intended) in order to express a more “sincere outrage”, and if we know anything it’s that in 2017 outrage is the new black.
In California it is especially unsurprising given Governor Jerry Brown’s recent description of complaining taxpayers as “freeloaders”. Brown also attacked Californians resisting the new $52 billion in taxes and fees as follower of “liar” Donald Trump.
“They have a president that doesn’t tell the truth and they’re following suit.”
The California Democratic party has been nakedly obvious about their distaste for the unwashed masses of their state and for anyone who doesn’t toe the party line of open borders, high taxes and big government. They are perfectly fine demonizing half of the voters of their state while their partners and the national level work to dig the same divides.
I guess that “we go high” thing was like Hillary’s lead in the polls – temporary and a complete lie.

Law professors file misconduct complaint against Conway: report

Conway is allegedly listed as a D.C. bar member under her maiden name, Kellyanne E. Fitzpatrick, though the George Washington University Law School graduate is currently a suspended member for not paying her dues.
The letter was sent to the D.C. Office of Disciplinary Counsel, the chief prosecutor for disciplinary matters that involve active or inactive attorneys who are D.C. bar members.
Professors from law schools including Yale, Georgetown and Duke signed the letter, which cites several recent controversies involving Conway as evidence.
One mentions Conway’s remarks about a nonexistent “massacre” in Bowling Green, Ky., earlier this month.
Another citation references Conway promoting merchandise associated with President Trump’s daughter Ivanka during a Fox News interview in early February.
D.C. Disciplinary Counsel Wallace “Gene” Shipp Jr. told the Post his office can only investigate about 400 to 500 of the roughly 1,500 complaints it receives annually. He added the actions that can be taken range from dismissing the complaint to prosecuting the charges and possible disbarment. |
