I'd respond to that, but my speech is limited.

NW30
The majority of the American people do not listen to the news at all.
About 30% bother to turn on the news.
Fox reaches about 14% of the American people , mainly over 60 years old and white.
This is according to Fox.they say their demographic has been getting older each year.
Young people increasingly listen to the Comedy Channel for news. One twenty something said that fox was the to comedy channel for sour faced old ladies but she was wrong. Most Fox listeners are men.

I guess I missed this one in 2010. But it clearly fits under root of all evil and make every effort to disenfrancise minorities.

House Democrats want Justice Department inquiry into AG raid
By JAMES DREW Staff Writer jdrew@dallasnews.com

AUSTIN — Democratic U.S. House members from Texas have asked the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate a raid by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott’s office that targeted a nonprofit voter registration group.
The Dallas Morning News reported Aug. 31 on the attorney general’s investigation of Houston Votes, which was accused of election fraud.
The inquiry was closed one year later, with no charges filed.
After the armed raid in 2010, funding for Houston Votes dried up. Its efforts to register more low-income voters in the state’s most populous county, Harris, ended. Records and office equipment seized during the investigation were destroyed under a 2013 court order obtained by Abbott’s office.
In a Sept. 10 letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, the 12 Democratic House members from Texas asked the Justice Department to open an investigation into the matter.
“This raid raises serious concerns about the biased use of state resources to prevent Texans from legally registering to vote,” said the letter to Holder, signed by the 12 House members. “We request that the Department of Justice open an investigation into this matter.”
A Justice Department spokeswoman said the request is being reviewed.

You like to call many of the things posted by people on the right, as being desperate.
I'd call going back 4 years for you to find something joyful to post, as being exactly that, desperate.

This is what I'd call desperate~

Talk about desperate, you consider the Republican drum beating fear mongering credible. Too funny.

NW...if you read the article , you'd see its a piece more about Fox news, and Republican politicians trying to score points about Obama's immigration policies. There is NO evidence that terrorosits are coming in from Mexico. You are very eager to believe almost anything.

Fear mongering about our border security is a lot better than killing a few more hundred thousand people in the middle east, and putting our soldiers at risk.

Bard--you are so paranoid they only have to say jump and you ask, "how high?"

I'm sorry that you don't realize that wasting time and money on false threats, or fear mongered by alcoholic presidential candidates that abuse power, is a waste of energy and money. The snooping by the NSA is not fool proof, but none of it supports Perry's efforts to scare you into voting for him.

Perry is a good governor, but not presidential material IMO. From an economic standpoint he has governed over one the best job creating states in the union. Don't scoff at that Mac.

Are you not worried about ISIS in the foreseeable future, or do you just believe we can wait until "They're heeeere" before taking overt action?

After all, we already have thousands of soldiers fighting ISIS on the ground and in the air, the UK's ruthless (and that's good, IMO) SAS is in the fight with us, ISIS is already a vastly superior and more sinister threat than its parent (Al Qaeda) ever was, and nuclear and/or dirty bomb weapons are not far away from their grasp.

It has been suggested at top levels that we handle air power and let the local militia handle the ground war, and was stated at THE top level that ISIS/L is a serious threat to our national security. Do we really want our national security to depend on ANYBODY'S "local militia" or even national army?

At what point does enough become ENOUGH for you?
