You CAN trust Fox news to have some extremely attractive female news anchors. I guess it makes it more believable when beautiful people say it?

Too funny! Facts here, Fox users allowed to peek: http://www.americanpressinstitute.org/publications/reports/survey-research/how-americans-get-news/

Quote:
Public Policy Polling released its annual survey testing how Americans view a variety of cable and broadcast news outlets. The public’s trust in Fox News Channel has declined but the cable news outlet remains America’s most trusted source of information. The network also has the dubious distinction of being America’s least trusted source for news. The results of this poll are similar to those of one year ago, when PPP found that Americans have the strongest opinions about Fox News Channel.

RELATED: Poll Says Fox News Most Trusted News Source…And Least Trusted

For the first time since PPP has been conducting their news poll, more Americans said they do not trust the news broadcast by Fox News Channel than say they do: with 46 percent saying they do not trust FNC’s product compared to 41 percent who said they do. This ranks far behind the partially publicly-funded PBS, for example. 52 percent of respondents said they trust the news PBS broadcasts compared to 29 percent who said they do not trust it.

But trusting the product is not the same as trusting the source.

When it comes to news outlets that Americans “trust the most” for news, FNC still beats all of its competitors. 34 percent say they trust Fox News more than any other source. 13 percent of respondents said that PBS is the network they trust most. CNN received the support of 12 percent of survey respondents, ABC received 11 percent, and MSNBC received 8 percent. 6 percent said they trusted CBS News the most, while NBC News and Comedy Central tied for last place with just 5 percent of respondents saying they trust those networks more than any other.

FNC also ranks at the top of the charts for news organizations Americans trust the least. 39 percent of respondents say that FNC is the network they trust least compared to 14 percent of Americans who said the same of MSNBC. 13 percent said CNN is the least trusted name in news, and 12 percent said that of Comedy Central.

Unsurprisingly, Republicans were more likely to say they trust Fox News over any other outlet. A majority of Democrats, meanwhile, said they trust CBS, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC and ABC. A plurality of Democrats also said they trust the news they get from Comedy Central.

0 percent of respondents who voted for Mitt Romney in the general election in 2012 listed MSNBC as the outlet they trusted most for their news compared to 5 percent of Obama voters who listed Fox News as their most trusted news source.

The survey of 800 voters was conducted from January 31 to February 3 and has a margin of error of +/- 3.5 percent. 42 percent of respondents identified as Democrats while 33 percent identified as Republicans and 25 percent identified as independents.

Then there are the facts. Those who trust Fox are old white (that is probably reduntant) Republicans--and poorly informed.

Don't cite facts to the old, white republicans, it only confuses them. They would rather live in their binary fantasy land then be bothered with the complexities of real life.

Fox, the media in question, is the mouthpiece for the Republican party. Ditto all media owned by Murdoch. Of those, only the Wall Street Journal separates effectively editorial policy from new coverage. Get real.

So you have to be young, black, and a democrat to understand the complexities of life.
Gotcha, I'll try to keep that in my old, white, conservative mind.

RE, someone said that Fox is banned in Canada.

Is that true? Question

No, I suspect plenty of middle aged independents of various other races understand the complexities of life. Clearly you do not. You demonstrated your binary thinking in your response - you could only formulate a contrary response - "young, black and democrat". There are a myriad of ages, ethnicities, and political persuasions within our Country. You just can't see them as a result of your inability to comprehend the nuances of life.

Carry on.
