The cut spending by cleaning up waste and fraud routine is a hollow fantasy unless some entitlements are reduced or eliminated. Having your cake, and eating it too, started with Reagan and his monster defecit spending, and continues with this nonstop tax cut lie from the repub. party. You can't sustain a 13 Carrier Navy, two wars and existing entitltements with tax cuts for the super wealthy |

Joey, you need to Google up some facts. As cited in detail here months ago to the extent Boggsman had to agree, income tax cuts have dramatically increased revenue throughout world/U.S. history, and tax hikes have cut revenues and exacerbated depressions. Keynesian economics has been clearly debunked virtually 100% in the real world, and ask yourself how much sense it makes to take the profits of productivity, keep it as long as you like while skimming off a big chunk for government salaries, then give what's left to unproductive people of whom more simply wannit than really need it.
• The Bush tax cuts apply to EVERY taxpayer, even to nontaxpayers via lower prices, not just to the rich.
• The top 1% of earners already pay 40% of all income taxes. Do you think they should pay 100%?
• When the rich get taxed too much, they leave and take their football -- their money -- with them. One man alone took his $13,800 daily income taxes out of NY state when they tried that. Piss off the rich too much and you lose.
You do know, don’t you, that partially funding Obamacare by cleaning up fraud is OBAMA’s plan? With Medicare fraud alone running in the hundreds of billions of dollars each year, why does every administration have to wait until they have a deficit to whine about the fraud? Why not execute a few major defrauders and send a message?
More hyperbole? Sorry, dude, but those are hard, cold facts, as are almost all my posts in this thread. You really ought to pay closer attention to facts if you want to seem like an adult.
