Since the Nauset Beach shout out worked so well a week and a half ago lets give it another shot. Thinking Coast Guard Beach should be good mid afternoon Thursday. SSE wind (side slightly on), Building swell, Warm and 20+ knots and building. If you can't make it at least you can watch on the Cam....
.TODAY...S WINDS 5 TO 10 KT...INCREASING TO 15 TO 20 KT WITH
GUSTS UP TO 30 KT. SEAS 4 TO 6 FT...BUILDING TO 5 TO 8 FT THIS
AFTERNOON. AREAS OF FOG. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS. VSBY 1 NM OR
LESS...INCREASING TO 1 TO 3 NM THIS AFTERNOON.

This could be right up there with the Nauset Shred-fest

Waif: Daddy, are you going to work today?
Me: Maybe only for a little while...
Waif: But Daddy, I'm so hungry and our cupboards are bare.
Me: Is it not better to soar over the waves like a bird?
Waif: Yes, Daddy, but I'm so cold, and there is no fire in the hearth.
Me: We are surrounded by nature's bounty, and the fire to huck burns within us all.
Wife: Just get your ass to work....
Me: OK, OK.....

Well it was not a top 10 day but beat the %*#& out of work.
Thanks Outcast for the up date cam photo.
I waited till after the sesh to tell Scott M about the great white shark encounter on Tuesday at Coast Guard.
Did get some decent down the line rides and worked on my wave shlogging out to get some rides.
All good!!

Rocktober.....no schlogging needed
I'm there at noon.....hopefully some build-up overnite.
For the un-initiated.....CG at low tide can be sort of....."interesting"
Where's Korporate Kimball?
Heading to the shed to dust-off the little gear

I'd have t agree -
"Well it was not a top 10 day"
Nobody mised anything if you thought Kalmus was the place to go.
For me, it felt good to go back to work.
RC
PS - Now even Saturday's stiff NW seems to be petering out.
