I have not really looked extensively at the Honda interior seat option. It appears that the 3rd row seats are stow and go, and the 2nd row needs to removed to have flat cargo area, otherwise they flod but intrude into the area

is this correct ?

It shows this on the Honda site.

The Chrysler products that have stow and go flow both rows into the floor.

would appear to have the same cargo area, just achieved in different method

Yup, that's a beaut.
You can cut the nose off your old boards, make them all around 230 cms, and you're set.
Hope you got a good one. My bud from SantaRosa got a lemon Odessy, 3rd tranny in 120,000 miles, auto.

Dude, show me how to cut the nose off a couple of old Bic boards ( a Rock and and Vivace) and I'll but you a beer!!!

1. Draw the new nose outline to match your tastes and the length you need.
2. Using an angle grinder, about $10 from HarborFreight, cutoff blade, cut the outline as drawn.
3. Angle grinder, grinding attachment, round off the top and bottom to blend with the foam core.
4. Glass it with epoxy resin.
5. Sand it.
6. Fill voids with more resin.
7. Sand again.
8. Paint it white with spray acrylic
9. Ride them.

My Odyssey's middle seats are in my shop. I have absolutely no need for them, and now anyone riding in the back seats has about 5 feet of leg room ... a limousine for our dogs.

3rd is stow and go, 2nd removes easily with a many options. You just need to take 'em out and have somewhere to put 'em. I thought of sticking them behind the 2nd row seat that I didn't remove but I had lots more room for extra stuff and the significant other still in the right side 2nd row. Center console between the front seats should be removed for boards/masts greater than 250cm.

Love the Chrysler/Dodge stow and go, but think I love this one more!

Zirtaeb...you are giving me way too much credit than I deserve for that work. They'll be happy down in Florida the way they are and I'll just have to remember how to sail 'em !!!

If only I didn't live in condo's both places!!!

KOOL. Chrysler had the stow and go in 2005

and thanks for the answer that wasn't addressed, which explains in the past why the Hondas seats intrude on the cargo capacity to him

this my 2nd Town & Country a 2006,with the 3.8Liter V6, traction control and anti skid, fast enough for me in a mini van, would handle better with performance tires and shocks, but its a mini van , can embarrass an X5 in the mountains, rather unsophisticated V6 but cheap to maintain, and Elmer in Anytown can repair it. It has stow and go, the 2nd and 3rd row seats fold into the floor. It shifts much smoother than the '03, and gets 1.5MPG better.
It gets 25MPG on flat land, like most of Wyoming at 80MPH . In this configuration it holds 4 boards on the rack, can take 2 additional on edge on the box side. The box holds 8 sails depending on what and size they are, additional sails fit on the racks resting on the board.

The floor has a sheet of plywood covered with indoor outdoor carpet. The one thing I sorely missed from the '03 without Stow&Go was a consul between the front seats, so I made my own from pine, it holds travel essentials.
