|
|
2005 Starboard Carve. I have a couple small areas where the skin is bubbling a little. One area cracked under the pressure of my fingernail (dumb mistake). Board is dry. I'm thinking it might be a couple small, 2-3 pea sized areas of delamination.
thanks |

I just met Jon Wong in Boston.
He did all the repairs for Wilderness House/Can Am when they were still in business.

Turns out it wasn't delaminating.
just two small areas where the outer skin/paint had bubbled up.
All superficial. |

*bump*
My first "new" board popped it's ding cherry yesterday; got a small scrape on the rail (on-shore-stupidity). Curious about what repair options are available in Boston/Cape if I don't "DIY" the repair.
Is Chino surfboard the way to go?
...even if you have a carbon-kevlar construction board?
(if that even makes a difference in the repair process).
Board-lady is awesome! That being said... without a good workspace (1BR apartment with tiny windows) or a vacuum pump, having a good professional option is also awesome. |
