Pull down on the boom, toward the deck of the board, with your lead hand. That's called mast foot pressure. Shorter harness will only make matters worse. Swing forward in the harness once your feet are in the straps. That will further the leverage for you to put more downward force on your mast.
The trick with our sport is to try to throw yourself into the water, forward of the center line while the harness and sail won't let you. If you put too much rear foot pressure, you'll wheelie out in every gust, or go way too slow for much fun. _________________ www.aerotechsails.com

Excellent! Glad to hear it. Be sure to mark or write down settings that work well, like downhaul, mast position, boom height etc. Keep at it and the rewards will keep coming.

You probably would have done better with my board, JD. Actually, given the conditions last weekend, you may just need experience. Many of those mid 80's boards were meant to be ridden off the fin. |

"You probably would have..."
Don't you mean "prabably," big guy?
"...you may just need experience...."
Spoken by the one WITH experience. (Experience at what...isn't so clear.)
"...be ridden off the fin..."
Always about that fin, Brucie. Why the fin fixation? |

What you insult his windsurfing abilities just because he decides not to buy you old outdated board. That is so unlike you. Mom would not be proud of you being so mean.
Also like Pueno said why are you always so obsessed with men riding your fin? |
