No Forecast available for: OR- Columbia River
No Extended Forecast available for: OR- Columbia River
Hope it is just a malfunction. They still have a forecast for the Bay area so hope they fix it before the heat/no wind spill is over. Temira is the way to go now. |

They've been spectacularly wrong this season so it's not such a loss, if they really are done for the season. I pay iWindsurf for the current wind speeds (love the new iPhone app!) and the forecasts, if taken with a grain of salt, are just extra.

Are you Shitting me, in August? I would be really pissed except for the Sunday forecast that kept almost everyone from driving to Roosevelt/Arlington. Sailed the Silos alone for hours and then three guys came out and I had to look once before I jibed. FYI, if you want a better forecast just check out the MM5 models or even NOA, they are both more accurate than IWindsurf and free as the wind. |

Near as I can tell, there is a major marine push forecasted by NOAA for Thursday. Here is what they are saying for the Near East part of the gorge:
THURSDAY...MOSTLY SUNNY IN THE MORNING THEN BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY. WINDY. NOT AS WARM. HIGHS 76 TO 86. WEST WIND 25 TO 35 MPH. GUSTS AROUND 45 MPH IN THE AFTERNOON.
Hold on to all small children and dogs.
