I agree my icebox and sink, which takes up about a 6' x 2x space, is a waste and is usually filled with water bottles, a campstove, and of course, the 10 gallons of water. I'd take it out, but haven't figured out how.
I just threw in 2 more sails, so now over 21, with the 7 booms, 6 boards, over 20 fins, and I still have room to sleep in it. Picked up a Koa5.0 and a Convert4.2 yesterday, good condition, with the Koa working really great in 13-21mph Berkeley breezes. That one might be a keeper, but I've got over 4 5.0's already.
Today might unload some stuff so I can take a cutie sailing, and she brings 2 boards and 3 sails, one mast, one boom.

What about a self-cleaning oven? I mean, wow people.... how can you expect to survive without this?

Dishwasher.
She can be blond, brunette, red, or black haired, as long as she's got a good .....
OTOH, how can anyone own an extended windsurfing van and only carry 3 booms and 4 boards, and anything less than 10 sails.

When people accuse me of having a board buying problem, I counter with, "No; I have a board selling problem".

Welcome to the club. '-)

When people gawk at my gear in my van, and say something stupid like..."how many sails to you have?", is usually tell them to "BUG OFF, ain't your business, so SCRAM".

Doesn't it get cramped sleeping in the engine compartment? '-)

Nah, I'm a tiny tyke, as my potential g/f says....
I"m 5'11" and 143 lbs., so maybe more stringbean than tiny.
I have 6'8" fore and aft, and about 37" side to side, in my sleeping area.
If I can get rid of the icebox and sink behind the driver's seat, I'd have enough room for her almost. OTOH, she makes about $120k a year, so might not want to sleep in my van.
She rent's a cottage for $1,100 a month.

While recovering from cranium surgery I couldn't Wserf for about 3 hours, so I converted my Extended Ford van into an RV. I used extruded pop cans (don't drink booze) and body filler. Inside is a full boardshop and sail loft. I make new gear for every session. Wind and current is never the same, and when you get as good as I am, you can notice the slightest nuance.

Isobans lives so close (that's my RV with a slight license plate tweak), but is apparently chicken to walk up and introduce/identify himself. What makes these cyberfakes so afraid of being themselves openly? Why are the only ones who do introduce themselves or at least say "Hi" the ones offering encouragement, appreciation, and/or at least a friendly handshake? Could it possibly be that the others would be embarrassed if their real identities were associated with their online facades? That must be it, because the last time someone challenged this brave group to identify themselves, only two of us did. Too bad in this case, as Isobans is one of the more clever posers here.
