2010 Gorge Challenge Downwind Slalom Video

Hi Everyone,

Just finished editing video from this Sunday's downwind slalom event. I posted on youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuiwmQ38xgQ. I tried to get everyone but I know I missed some and I apologize. Forgive me also for the lousy video quality as the combination of me gimping around on crutches and a camcorder from the very early 21st century was not so good. It sure was fun watching you from 3 different locations though! (However the pain of not being out there with you was way worse than the pain in my ankle.)

Let me know if anyone wants a high quality copy of the movie and I can either get it to you via thumbdrive, dvd or whatever.

Fun video Jay . Hope you heal fast. Kind of glad I didn't make it now , so I don't have to see myself following behind last over and over again. Good Job.
Next time go pros on the racers, edit in some mayhem.

Thanks for the feedback and good wishes you guys. Now I hope to see all three of you guys out there next year. Bob, as for the mayhem, there wasn't really that much, at least not on Sunday. (Maybe once I was injured and gone???). Seriously though, using the heat format with fewer than 20 racers per heat vs. 30 to 40 with the old two lap upwind format really helps decrease the cluster at the first mark (much less carnage potential).
