King of the Hook - August 14 & Groms Clinic

Hi Windsurfers-

King of the Hook is coming up on August 14th! For more info about this fun and goofy event, click [here].

FREE registration starts at 5pm, competition will start soon thereafter. Be sure to dress up in a crazy outfit, and get ready to have lots of fun!!

King of the Hook Clinic this Friday
If you want to learn what kind of moves to throw down, join Andy Crafts, veteran competitor, and Pete DeKay, editor of Windsport Magazine, at the Hook this Friday, 10-noon, for a Gorge Groms clinic on longboard freestyle for beginners (includes how to make up your own move!). Come prepared to get wet.

Clinic is free for registered Gorge Groms, or $20 at the "door" for the clinic only.

It should be fun.. as always. I hear they have a semi-famous MC coming to officiate!? What about Andy Brandt .. is he coming again this year? So the event will start at 5:30 at the Hook in Hood River (after registration at 5)?
