|
|
This one is for the iWindsurf staff:
The St. Lucie Plant, aka Jensen Beach, wind sensor has been giving the wrong wind direction for about two months. It is always reads about 100 degrees less than the true wind direction. Like if the wind is East, the sensor will say its North Northwest. It's a glaring error that looks especially strange when compared to all the correctly pointing wind sensor arrows on the real time wind map.
It would be good to get this sensor recalibrated asap, since it's the most reliable indicator of coastal seabreezes in the "treasure coast" area of Florida where there are quite a few windsurfers and kiters including me.
Thanks.
(Tried to contact through the "report a malfunctioning sensor" form but received no reply, which is why I am posting here.) |
