Hi,
My exchange student who is now back home in Denmark is looking for some gear to sail on. While out here (California) he became proficient sailing all over San Francisco Bay, and I took him to Maui for a week and the Gorge for a week. He sailed both of those places like a champ. He is on a limited budget (student) and lives in the northwest corner of Denmark - Alborg. I'd appreciate any comments on this deal, or in general, how he should proceed finding a reasonably priced used rig. He's pretty big, probably around 100Kg. I would probably want to see him on a floaty freestyle board rather than the bic, but I don't know what the shopping is like out there.
Here is what he has found:
I contacted a shop called "Surf & Ski" in Denmark and they want to sell me a whole rig.
It will cost about 7200-7500 kr., it depends on which sail I chose (It is about $1350)

The Sail will be

The mastfoot will cost 500 kr. = $90 |
