Here's an update on the elbow problems that had bothered me for more than a year: I managed to get completely rid of them after using the Thera-Band Flexbar for just a few days.

I have since been on windsurfing trips to Maui and the Gorge, and my elbows have remained perfectly fine, even though the windsurfing at both places was rather challenging for me (first trip to both places, I usually sail on perfectly flat water). I was rather amazed how quickly the Flexbar exercises worked. I blogged about it right away, but waited a few months before commenting here to see if the improvement is permanent. So far, so good! Definitely worth trying out if you have elbow issues.

Which resistance bar did you start with, and did you need to increase to the next bar?

I only used the red one (light resistance). I also got the green (medium) one, but never used it, since my symptoms went away so quickly.

I have been surfing several days in a row for 5-6 hours each recently, still no problems (but conditions called for big gear, which I surf most of the time and therefore am most comfortable on).
