WINDSURFERS / PADDLEBOARDERS / KAYAKERS DIVERS & SWIMMERS NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE IN A BOAT DANCE FOR EARTH CELEBRATIONS' HUDSON RIVER PAGEANT-
AN ECOLOGICAL PERFORMANCE ART EVENT :
FEATURING A SPECTACULAR WATER DANCE OF BOATS, KAYAKS,
AND WINDSURFERS TO RESTORE THE HUDSON RIVER & ADDRESS CLIMATE CHANGE
The spectacular Water Dance of Boats & Harmonic Chant Concert closing ceremony combines on-the-river boat choreography by the Bessie award-winning Alice Farley, and David Hykes and the over-the-river concert world premiere of "River Goddess Flowing" by renowned composer-singer with The Harmonic Choir. The choreography includes 30-foot rowboats festooned with spectacular marine-life sculptures and costumed kayaks performing a dance movement on the water. Boat participants include: Village Community Boathouse, Downtown Boathouse & The Harbor School.

the best part is that i actually will be in NYC that weekend......
guess i have to go...
Can't wait to drag the bags thru the hotel lobby...
My windsurfing has always been performance art so it's a natural fit....the angst and pathos is always evident
I'm going to opt for a fully cambered/powered screaming reach right thru the whole flock of flowing goddesses, costumed kayakers and marine life sculptures...in sort of "the wind is more powerful than your art" way
I just wish it wasn't for a good cause
