How foolish was it for Donald Trump to walk back a broad base of standards that challenged energy producers to move into a more viable and sustainable future while improving emissions controls and our environment overall. To retract our commitment to the Paris Accords was infinitely stupid in preparing America for the future. Innovation and technological development is the key to opening the doors for America to stay on top.
The idea that rolling back regulations and allowing corporations the opportunity to greedily strip our nation for profit without reasonable constraints and regulations is ludicrous and irresponsible. With the corporate windfall offered by the passage of the Republican tax bill, it would be unconscionable not to demand stricter requirements that would focus on a better environment and a more sustainable future. |
The Paris Accords was an AWFUL deal for America. Thank god we have a president that puts Americas interest first, NOT THE LIBERAL GLOBAL AGENDA.
Energy independence is now a reality thanks to President Trump.

| No doubt, you're ignoring a big reality as we move into the future. I guess it must be better for you to simply turn back to the standard Republican talking points. Yet, you have to remember that most thoughtful nations in the world don't see it your way. It would be sad to pass on our opportunities to be a leader into the distance future. |

Sorry mat-ty, the Heritage Foundation opinion piece is riff with biased and totally unsupported conclusions. It's pretty clear to me that the influence of energy producers is what's behind the opinions offered.
Moreover, the idea that private companies are going innovate and develop leading edge technological changes without government regulations is specious at best. Trump and his administration is going foolishly in the wrong direction, and the rampant stripping of environmental and emissions related regulations relieves polluters from being controlled and responsible moving into the future. Needless to say, unleashing endless greed and focusing on profits will only benefit corporations and their stockholders. |

| Isn't the circumstances beaching the US Navy vessel more about the propulsion technology used? I'm thinking that those jet propulsion units that drive the vessel can't handle chunks of ice in making it go. Kind of foolish launching such a high tech vessel designed for a different environment at the height of winter. Leave it the Trump Administration to plan and orchestrate such a boondoggle. |
