No.......... the fools who refuse to acknowledge the variability of local weather as a consequence of the global effects of climate change blame the government and Al Gore for everything.
Gosh, Mr. B., but you really are fun!

We've had virtually no winter where I live, and it's been windy as all hell for a week now. Some light showers, but largely blue skies and many days in the 50s and low 60s. We had a few inches of snow last week, but it was blasted into memory by 40 mph 60-degree winds a day or two later. That was apparently our winter except for a very cold but dry week or two last month.
If that's global warming, I'll take it. |

The two deniers who are drinking the cool aid directly from the Koch's accuse everyone else of that. It is good you guys have no sense of irony--you provide an endless source of amusement for those of us who wake up and face reality every day!

2700 posts and you guys still haven't figured out if it's getting warm or cold! Is there a dead horse around that needs beating? I think I might have some people to help with that. |

Sorry, Mr. B., but I don't drink koolaid.
I do, however, look at data. And the data to me suggests more that human activity is contributing to climate change. I conclude that it's in our own self interest to control that activity and try to mitigate or reduce the deleterious effects of increased CO2 and methane in the atmosphere.
Yes, yes, I know that termites fart methane and that we exhale CO2. Those environmental artifacts have always existed -- and mother nature has dealt with it.
But the consumption and combustion of carbon fuel is a strictly human activity that is adding an unnatural amount of CO2 to the atmosphere (forest fires add a natural amount). Likewise, mining and industrial activities add an unnatural amount of methane.
Methane and CO2 block long-wave IR radiation (but not incoming short-wave IR from the sun), which means that excess heat is trapped in the atmosphere.
This is eleventh-grade physics and needs no citation. The Koch brothers and ExxonMobil understand this perfectly well. I'm surprised that you don't..... or that you refuse to try...... or that you keep your head where the sun don't shine.

So, you admit that the climate is changing?

Beating dead horses is this forum's second-highest priority. |

Dead horses, live horses, oak trees, asparagus, plaster, doesn't seem to matter. |

Nit Wit 30. I thought you were going to explain your post, and how it adds something to the discussion that had not already been said. Something that demonstrated your grasp of 8th grade general science? No? |

LOL, I look at this post of yours and I have to wonder how your mind really works.
You've adopted peeeuuno's slang for me as good enough for you too, sweet and original, and from a non WSing political troll at that, classic.
Then you try to entice me for some information from me, by trying to unsult me, classic again.
Do you really think you deserve an answer from me? Well do ya ....? |
