The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is introducing Secure Flight, a program designed to enhance the security of commercial air travel. As a result, we want to make you aware of some additional information we will need to obtain from you at the time of booking.

Starting now, when you purchase a ticket on Virgin America, you will need to provide the following information as it appears on the government issued photo ID you will use when traveling:
• Full Name (First, Middle, Last)
• Date of Birth
• Gender
• TSA Redress Number (if applicable – a TSA provided number for personal identification for those persons who have gone through the TSA redress process)
As an Elevate member, please update your Elevate guest profile now with the required Secure Flight passenger data. Then, every time you make a reservation with us, we’ll automatically populate this information for you. To update your profile, follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Update Elevate Profile" button below
2. Login to your account
3. Go to "My Account"
4. Go to "My Contact Info"
5. Click "Edit" and update your personal information
Also, please check the name on your Elevate account to ensure that it matches the full first and last name that will appear on your ticket. This way, we can ensure your Elevate points will continue to post to your account automatically.
