OK now that we should be done talk’n about sanding candy canes, how about a little history lesson?
Did you know that last year on December 28th many of the Iwindsurf regulars made a trip to Kalmus? Notable dignitaries that were in attendance: JE, OC, Bruce & Gerda (providing van-based supervision) and SCOPPER. How about Bill who runs with the Boston Jerry crowd? Anyway there was about a dozen or so.
The conditions were upper 40s and strong enough to power flyweights on sails in the low 4s.
Well son-of-a-gun, isn’t this Sunday’s forecast shaping up to be pretty similar. With an afternoon low tide, it will be user friendly conditions.

No sure... Model table calls for ~30 around 7am... then drops off to ~18 around 10am... Looks tempting for practicing the rigging/ de-rigging under 15 minutes?
I am in BUT need further forecast refining first... |

I remember last year's Christmas present very well, but I was at Duxbury with local Dennis, plus Ken DiMuccio and his son Mike. We sailed from the eastern shore of the bay because of the strong westerly component. Ken's Clam Sandwich with thrusters he added was the best board I sailed that day in those conditions. My wave board was more work in the gusty and lumpy conditions. Actually, Dux might be pretty good in tomorrows easterly forecast.
