Because the uni was so old, i made a slightly tapered plug from a dowel with a threaded nut in it and jammed it home...that way you can use anything modern with a single screw.....the dowel swells with h20 and stays put. _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=zw0MgkO7VXw |

Let's see, a dufour wing had the long cylinder base (probably red) that fits into the board and then has two levers on the board that flip over to hold it in place....I think I have a few of those. Send me an e-mail (with a picture of your board if you can) and I can get you one!

Actually, I think the Dufour Wing had a red cylindrical base with a compression collar to hold it in.

Wow, Dufour was the 1st board I ever tried to sail in 1978. I remember the anti skid was almost non exitantant. Also, the mast boom conection was just a small line with a plastic knob that attached the boom that just floped up and down. It also had a small plastic fin.
Put newer rig on it and enjoy, Perhaps a 6.5 Hot SuperFreak..... |
