Logic tells me the May swap meet should provide a better sellers' market (i.e., bring higher prices) than the Sept swap, at least for gear older than one or two years. Any flaw in that presumption?

The May swap is the biggest/ busiest even when wind forecast for the weekend is not good (Victoria weekend). Been doing 1 or 2 Windance Swap meets every year for 17 years, mostly as a seller. This May swap was good for me sold 2 boards, 2 sails, 3 masts, extensions, fins and boom....then turned around and spent it all. |
