Kind of a local inside joke / message --
Instead of spending my evenings sitting in my easy chair, with slippers, pipe and the paper; I've been outside raking up all the sh!t that was deposited on the lawn thanks to our little NE'er.
So this morning before work, I figured that a little bike ride out to the Country Club was in order. It was a good way to get some fresh air and see how "our" bar had made out.
I was shocked that the Parks Department had the balz to shut down the road.
Will I get there, yes! Even if it means parking with the OUTCASTs and hoi polloi.
Jerry, Jeff and the rest of you SUPers, save room for the lowly surfers!

R U kidding?
We had the rockin party last nite, chicks, surfing windsurfers, and me acting as lookout.
It was great!
The SupperClub is open to all who brave the price of admission
Smell of fried food from Liams on the Southwest wind killed me though as it got closer to dark

With no one home to control my internet access a quick update.
After reading of last night's fun, a wolfed down some lefovers and made my way to the north break via the parking lot.
I was happy to have a little company with 2 other surfers. After fighting the rips and currents, I got 2 halfassed rides before they spilt. On my own, I kept at it and finally punched through to the outside for a decent ride. Getting tired, a little dark 7:50 I got the best ride of the night, from outside ahead of the break, all the way across the bar and rode the leftover swell as far as I could. The only issue was timing the exit out of the water with nasty shore pounding break.
Ride production C, Effort A, Last Ride A+ = a solid B overall.
Before going home I checked out the south side of the lot. Hve yu ever seen that lady Ireana who dirives an old tan taurus wagon? She's a pretty good surfer. She was coming up the beach. Personally, the north side was a lot better.
Times up the family just came home from a little league party. My 10 year old son who has never willingly touched a bat, ball or stick couldn't wait to go. I think it was the promise of free booze and chicks.

Share your posting with the rest of the community, Ron. What Country Club are you posting about? By the way I had a pretty good session yesterday with the 9.6. However, we haven't had enough wind over the last month for me not to have been effected by the wind's short rise in strength to over-powering. I put up around 1 p.m., downed a few power bars and gatorade, chatted with a Chinese kiter who had driven down to the Cape only to miss the wind, and then went out into a dying blow. It was a good workout, I recommend it to all who want to stay in shape for the little N'or Easters.

For fear of being beat over the head with a SUP paddle, I'm sworn to secrecy.
The only other one at the club today was Phil Clark w/ paddle in hand. I was on the north end, he on the south for no particular reason. The last half, I was on my own.
Better than last night, but a little WATERLOGGED today. Grade A-
I can't figure out why so many "so-called" surfers don't make the walk. After a good 90 minute session this morning, I had to shake my head at the cluster around this dinky little break near the north boardwalk.

Why not exchange PM's instead of making all the readers here envious?
