Hye,
I'm Marc from France.
I just found a Fiberspar Tidal Wave 65% RDM 4.00 in a shop.
I'm interest for buy it , but in france , there isn't a lot of them. I don't know well Fiberspar.
So, i ask you if fiberspar mast are good with EZZY sails WAVE SE.
For the moment, i have these Ezzy sails : 4.0 2007, 4.7 2005 and 5.2 2006.
I check a lot in the WEB but i'm not sure for my choice.
In my opinion, it's ok because the pb with the mast is with pryde or north sails (because the type of MAST curve). Ezzy, fiberspar, powerex seems to be the same curve of mast ?
If you can answer and confirm my ideas... Sorry for my english...
Bye from FRANCE (Britany, north west coast).

The Fiberspar Tidal Wave should work well in your sail. Dave Ezzy just as recently as 2008 stated that his mast bend is basically based off a 1992 Fiberspar Tidal Wave!

Dave discusses this about 4:50 minutes into this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eesIEaEG71c

David Ezzy is always more than happy to personally answer questions about his sails. His email is: david@ezzy.com And yes, he usually will respond within hours of receiving your email.

If you are in the Gorge this weekend, will be at Windfest this Saturday and Sunday at the Event Site in Hood River. Demo the new sails or just stop by and chat.

There used to be a snide comment here, by me, that belonged in a different thread. It rightfully triggered Chandler's following mild criticism.

isobars, you need to chill. Going back to a 2009 thread to wind up for a rant is a bit crazy, don't you think?

For once, you are right in busting my chops. I've never even looked at this thread until just now ... long after I posted that comment in another thread where it was relevant, accurate, and current. I have no idea how it got here.

Yoohoo curve wise it'll be fine. It's a nice budget mast.
Be wary that it is a bit heavier and slightly noodly.
It most likely won't be an issue though!

Just be aware that they were widely known as Feeblespar and Fibersnap many years ago.
