Isabella's going to blow all weekend, c'mon up! If you don't believe me, watch today's wind--more of the same tomorrow & Sat., slightly lighter on Sun.. _________________ Spennie the Wind Junkie

the recipe for wind is very, very simple: costa rica. www.ticowind.com. this year (my 8th there), i sailed 16 days out of 16. 3 of which were on a 5.0 or bigger. 6 were on a 3.9 or smaller. the rest on a 4.2 and i weigh 205 pounds.
i know it's not the season but, read my lips, "no where, i mean no where, does it blow as consistently or as stong as lake arenal in costa rica".
i lived in socal for 2 years and i can say from experience, the wind just never shows up. |

You left out which years you were there, boom size, mast size, your age, height, foot size, palm span, length of....ah, never mind...meals/day, cost per night per person, how you'd rate the place on a scale of 1-10, and...and....and... |

Go north my good southland brothers and sisters of the wind! Stay at the conveniently located Claremont in Berkeley and sail where it blows that day in the 2 hr radius, get the full post sesh spa treatment at the Claremont, head over to Cafe at Chez Panisse for Cal cuisine at its finest, and, if you still have the energy left, take BART to SF to a dance club of your choosing. |

Fin?
Cuz if that's what floats your boat, you should see my Orca!
I had to cut it down because it caused to much fin envy on the beach!
