Well something is going on. This morning I couldn't even get it to load the page much less try to read anything. Then 1 hour later it's flying along faster than I've seen it in a long time. So something must have changed....
But if we are going to have a wish list...
1. Get rid of the banners/pictures at the top. They load last and everytime I'm about to click on something, the menu drops down after the banners load and I end up clicking on the link above the one I want. Very frustrating after a while.....
2. Get rid of the map showing where the post was from. Takes time to load and nobody really cares about it anyway |

Agree ... and wonder why their weekend forecast for great winds throughout the Gorge is diametrically opposed by every other source, including their own proprietary model. I ain't packing my bags 'til it hits 20 kts, sustained.

if it's broke, fix it;
can't figure why the weatherflow folks
did not notify us before, and keep the users
current as to what to expect |

It's not fixed. Glacially, painfully slow. |

I have to say that iWindsurf has been at this for many years now, so one wonders why so many repeated difficulties and the notably poor performance on their website. It's always seems to be one problem after another.
I used to love the old pager system for its damn good dependability and very low cost. I still have the old Motorola pager. Pretty old school technology really, but infinitely superior for folks out and about. I guess I still have this unrealistic wish that the pager will again be viable in the future. |

Seems like things are finally settling out. However, I've noted that the Dynamic system is currently unavailable. Possibly its inclusion had a negative affect on website performance. However, in the long run, I'd like to have the Dynamic system back as a viable choice again, as it offered a lot of detail information not available in the old system alternative.
Later update:
Looks like the Dynamic system is now back. That's good news. |
