Anyone else notice that it gets stuck on ads.weatherflow.com
Fine if you need to show ads, but do it AFTER you show everything else (at least for paying accounts). And if traffic is your problem, maybe separate the free and paid account. Between the frequent sensor outage, long sensor repair times, and slow web site, I long for the old days of Call-of-the-Wind, when a tiny company provided a much better service.

Seems to me like the delays are often tied to calls to charbeat.net, a low-budget traffic monitoring solution. Perhaps too low budget?

Yes! I was about to post and ask the same question. I wasn't sure whether the problem was on the sending end or the receiving end.

If I do not see a response from an iWindsurf person in the next day or so acknowledging the problem, I will report it to them properly. [I know sometimes the iWindsurf folks monitor these forums.]

Thanks, Mike, but David did not address the issue of missing email alerts in his message - not surprising since it was raised later in the thread. I'm guessing that he will continue reading this thread now that he has started.

I, for one, am willing to wait for "fancy features". By the way, the chopswell at Berkeley today was quite slashable.

David -> Maybe you need to install the "Coyote Point" load balancer...

http://www.coyotepoint.com/

Wink

These guys actually thought up the idea at Coyote Point years ago, but oddly they aren't windsurfers or kiters...
