I wanted to stop watching during the first few minutes, but then it got more and more interesting. Worth watching, whether or not you buy it.

My guess is that the GEITHNER PLAN unveiled today should fuel the fire of this youtube video.

To draw private investors to partner with the government to bail out the banks??? HUH?

Three things:

1) The banks want double digit returns even though the govt will guarantee these assets.
2) The banks want the govt not to tax their excess salaries.
3) Obama seems to not want to tax these excess salaries anyway.

CHANGE WE CAN COUNT ON? Meanwhile small businesses get nothing, workers are screwed, and you might as well burn paper money in 5 years. We'll all be making $250k in 5 years (new minimum wage)

I am thinking the reason the Iwindsurf site is so slow is because you guys keep this endless political debate going here sucking up bandwidth. Just stop it already. Focus on windsurfing. The season is here already. Go sail.

About those SB loans
I just spoke to a guy who approves loans for small businesses. They are very eager to loan to those with good credit, but most apps they get are from businesses that are overextended. They have backed up money resources langishing because those with good credit-my business for example- don't want to borrow when things are so slow.
Good to remember when trying to understand THE CRISIS. Another important point is that real estate sales are down about 22% nationwide. That means nearly 80% of houses sell. That amounts to more than 4 million homes in Jan. that sold.
We are among those who benefit from the situation. My new TV was half price after Xmas. Rental house business has never been better. My accountant says we will pay a lower tax rate this year.
