As the Regional Director for US Windsurfing's Northeast Region (New England plus New York) I build out an event calendar that posts on http://uswindsurfing.org/cal_Northeast.htm Check out last year's calendar and see just how many windsurfing related events made it! I'm sure that I failed to capture more than a few, so here is the chance to get your event the listing it deserves.

Anything connected to windsurfing will be included, from competitions to club meetings, clinics to community windsurfing camps. Oh yes, don't forget the club AND shop swap meets!

This is an "unofficial" announcement, but the 2009 Hatteras Wave Jam is coming! Very Happy

The updated event web site (update to the 2008 Hatteras Wave Fest site) will launch this coming weekend. The Hatteras Wave Jam will be the EVENT this year for US East Coast wavesailing, freestyle, and aerial artistry!! It combines aspects of both 2008's Hatteras WaveFest and LoopFest into one exciting year long venue...with clinics, demos, and parties planned throughout the Hatteras windsurfing season, along with of course, competitive oceanside action! The key to the Hatteras Wave Jam will be a cumulative scoring/ranking system which will track participants progress through the course of the year. Near the end of the Fall 2009 Hatteras windsurfing season, the Event Awards party will name the top finishers. The prizes will be spectacular!!
