There is something very surreal about the place on a weekend. The smell of burgers from Neptunes Net, sport bike riders doing wheelies on PCH, packs of Harley riders making more noise than even I can stand, beach babes, surfers, kiters, windsurfers. Today it is raining, but yesterday was a....perfect California day?

A perfect pre-spring day with chest high surf, 5.8 small board type wind and mucho action on the beach and highway. Heavy smell of fried fish!

My sentiments exactly! There was something special about yesterday....It seemed to me that EVERYBODY that was out there yesterday, from bikers, kiters, windsurfers, surfers or just sunbathers were totally stoked to be there, enjoying and appreciating So.Cal living. The water was surprisingly mild for March, and I especially enjoyed observing, while sailing back toward the shore, how beautifully green our coastline is in the spring.

I am going to have to miss it. I am in Seattle and it is bitter cold, but clear. Have fun boys and girls.
