I am taking the family to the Summerset Resort in the Turks and Caicos this June instead of the usual trip to Maui. I know that it is not the best choice as far as windsurfing, and its a long schlep from SFO, but it will be something different, and was wondering if anyone had any experience sailing there that they would like to share. We went to Turks & Caicos last February - Beaches Resort. The wind was mostly light but one day a northerly frontal wind came in and I had an epic day sailing with Windsurfing Provo from in front of Ocean Club East. If you are at Somerset, then it is about 2 miles up the beach to the right (NE). He had great gear and was very nice. I was on something like 100 liter/6.0 meter and it reminded me of sailing on Kailua Bay, Oahu.
