Crissy will be better. It will be offshore at 3rd in this wind direction. Big Ebb and its already over 50 degrees air temp. Warning - water turned real cold. I have been surfing all month and the water temp definitely dropped in the last 30 days. Going to be good but be safe. |

I am going to check Davenport - the upper reef should be epic (13ft@13sec), assuming the channel is not closing... |

I went to Sherman Island this morning at about 10 am it was blowing west at about 22. In about 15 mints it went to near 30. I was on my 5.3 and super overpowered. Fun and cold I lasted for about 45 mints . I don't sail with booties or gloves and today for the first time I regreted not having those things. I hope that you all had a great Christmas and wish everyone a Happy New Year. |

Yeah, the Berk at 16-28 or so, pretty overpowered in the gusts and chop with 5.5 and 84 slalom gear, but what the hey, it's better than the last 2 months.
Precarious landings, sketchy jibes, really choppy with NW winds from the fetch of SanPablo bay vs the normal chop from the GGate.
Ice hands first 6 runs, then with some tears and 15 minutes glued to the hood of my dark van, OK for an hour and a half. |

3rd avenue was great today...4.2 sail, 85 liter...overpowered in the channel at times. messy waves. scary cold in the water. extremely satisfying for December 25th. |
