Injured sailboards and surfboards the world over have been made whole again thanks by the amazing talents of Eva “The boardlady” Hollmann but it is the joy she has brought to the owners of these injured watercraft, when they see their loved one made whole again, that must be remembered and appreciated. In honor and celebration of Eva’s retirement, Warren and Debbie Thomas will be hosting an open house event at their retail store in Santa Barbara. The open house will take place December 20th from noon to 6pm. Details can be found here:

I’ll be looking forward to seeing lots of my sailing, surfing and SUP’ing friends there!

well - not quite retirement yet - I am headed into a transition phase, to teach composites, build some of the projects that I had no time for due to the overwhelming flood of broken boards, sail my heart out at Isabella - and fix a board or two in the bargain, I'm sure...
Details to be announced on my website www.boardlady.com
Thank you all for a most satisfying 12 years!!!
Eva

Hi Eva,
I'm looking forward to having you as a neighbor .You have worked your magic on a couple of my boards and you truly are a Master Craftswoman. I salute you. You have my e-mail. Give me a shout when you get settled and we'll have you over for some BBQ. See you on the water next spring. I usually start sailing here March 1st,brrrrrrrrr.Had the first freeze yesterday.
