Yeah, you guys were wise to hold off. It was mostly skunky at Kalmus. I hope you have better luck tommorow.

Epic day at Fogland... started solid 6.5, the outgoing tide against incoming wind generated some of the biggest swell I've seen in Fogland...
At about 3:30, right after I switched to 5.2 the wind died... time to go home... as I was leaving the wind picked up, too late... anyway it was an epic session that will keep me happy until the next one...

I'll probably go to Nahant today (Sunday) if the wind stays up.

Report card from the outer Cape (in CC Bay). I give it a C+ for this morning.
Went from underpowered on a 5.0 to way over on a 4.2.
I have a habbit that the last run in has to be the "money run" - full bore / wide open. If that happens it adds at least a coupe of points. I got it, then said WTF, one more for good luck. While making the turn on the outside, I had to throw it away. Swam for it, blasted back in and called it a day.
My attitude was the weakest part of the whole thing.

Deep Hole/Matunick was pretty nice today. The wind was gusty and shifty at times but the waves were great.

Outcast, I was wondering how you did at Coast Guard Beach. It looks 100 times better than Kalmus was. I can't tell from the pics whether you guys were full-on planing but those waves look nice. I was pretty pissed with myself for missing it on Saturday but Sunday made up for it.

Hey Scopper:
That's a great shot. A clear picture of what looks like some tough conditions.
As far as I'm concerned, windsurfing on the outer Cape has been cancelled until further notice. Damn cold and flurries all day!

Nice shot Sunday from Matunick. Looked like cleaner waves than Horseneck, one of the gustiest days I've sailed there. OP'ed down a wave, then slowly sinking in all on the same tack. But fun.
