Ron,
It was blowing well enough in Boston that I didn't need to take the long drive.
It was certainly stronger on the Cape but I've still got a long way to go to be able to enjoy the higher winds. Most of the regulars were out at Pleasure Bay getting high speed runs.

Couldn't make it Ron as I've been disabled. My bad hip turned sour with the onslaught of the cold winds. I've been able to walk, but any exercise more extreme isn't within my reach right now. You have to get used to this kind of reaction to windsurfing and other active sport now that you are over 40. If I wasn't doing a lot of clew first waterstarts and jumping on and off the board, I probably wouldn't have aggravated it. There was a point last summer when I had to crawl from bed to the bathroom. I regret that I couldn't have joined you over the weekend. I'll also be in Florida soon so we probably won't see each other until next spring. I'm driving down and taking both a windsurfer and big kiting board. The southern weather will definitely help this nearing 60 geriatric.

A sight worth seeing, no doubt.

You'll need more than your Geritol, big guy. Or should it be "old guy" now?

Are you driving the SB Buick or the POS Toyota to Florida?

Gosh, I should have asked earlier, Brucie....... How will you salivate and pontificate about your XC skiing if you're in Vero Beach during snow season? And who will take care of mom?
