Is it Bruce or Robert Bruce? The old straps on my board were just worn out. The slotted fin is by Simmer. It has served me well but getting a little tired, one too many sand jobs at low tide in CC Bay. My x-mas present will be a replacement by Curtis.

As far as the forecast, the NOAA report still seems to be holding up for the outer cape. As much as I would like to hookup with others, Oliver and Company, driving inland and possibly reducing the impact of the NE wind - ain't gonna happen tomorrow. I do us all a favor and reduce truck air pollution by staying close to home - Pleasant Bay

Scopper, honk on your way by, if you go to the cut.

Saturday's forecast is fading fast, but Sunday still looks good. Not sure where to go yet. Have to wait and see.

Ron -

If NE prediction holds I plan to sail down your way Sunday ( tomorrow ).
I like Pleasant Bay on NE, one of my friends suggests Scatteree what is your call - time and sailing site ?

Hi Papa (Bruce of Gerda):

The updated NOAA is still calling for bigger winds tomorrow. I'd like to show up at 11:00. Hopefully it will have warmed up a little. Plus spanning the lunch hour won't upset the landlubbers at home

My take is that late morning Scatteree won't have that much water, plus the tide will be coming in, from the east. Combined with a northeast wind staying on course might be a pain.

Based on time and tide flow, I'm going back to old faithful, the dirt parking lot off Rte 28.

I left today at 3, almost high tide. Almost the entire parking had become part of the bay. Tomorrow's tide is a little lower.

All are welcome!! Hope to see you and Gerda there.

WTF - No one came out to play.

I don't know what the wind was blowing but gusts to 40 (with the wind funneling down the bay) seems reasonable.

For a comparison to our day at Skaket Oliver, I had a smaller fin on, and smaller chop but was more over-powered. A few turns resulted in what I call throw-aways. I just had to jump and let it go. Air temp 50F
I give it an A for effort being kinda burnt from from yesterday's great session, C for execution = Overall Grade B

Injury Report: Pulled bicep on Saturday, really pulled today and legs stiff from yesteday too. Will they sell Geritol to people under 50??
