Sunday looks intense – winds are going to be closing in on forty steady at one point with gusts probably in the 60s. Where are you sailing? Is West Dennis a good place to be? |

I'll be there both Saturday and Sunday. West Dennis seems to be a good place for raging S or SE, but I welcome suggestions. Smallest sail is a 4.0, even at my girthy 194 lbs, gusts to 60 will ruin me. Sunday looks promising for North side sailing... See you somewere. |

The latest IWS forecast calls for SW looking best at Chatham. Is there a good SW spot to sail there that will get some of the swell from the storm? If not where is a good site that might catch some of the swell from the storm? |

With alittle bit of north in the west wind, CC bay is the place to be. However, the tides suck with a mid day low.
Paul from Hopkinton knows the score, we had a car-paint-peeling classic sub 4.0 session a liitle over a year ago in my home town of Orleans (gotta get that plug in!! - 2 guys from this forum have made the trip)

If anybody thought they were gonna score with Hanna on the outer Cape today, they probably didn't get to first base.
I'm done waiting for the "pot to boil" on this one.
The winds are just starting to pick up with gusts a little over 20 at my house. 9:00pm
If it's not too unruly, I'll give it go close to home in the morning. I figure that I've got to be on the water by 8:30 to limit the long walk to coming in.
Good Night, RC |
