Hi,
Anyone know what direction is good for Chapin down in Cape Cod?
Looks like Sun, 5/4, that the wind is going to be stronger out that way
than W Dennis and be ESE.

Is it tidal there, think high tide is 11 am tmrrw but the wind will be highest
at 8 am.

Thanks,
Greg

Chapin is good NE,N,NW,W, SW. Very tidal, 2 hours on either side of low tide and you have yourself a long walk to the edge of the mudflats. Mayflower just a 1/2 mile to the East eliminates that. Steve's blog can give you more info

Looks like they blew the forecast again...

Chapin won't be very good in a S.E. unless you sail way out into the Bay. However, sailing an off shore wind isn't recommended.

Mayflower doesn't eliminate that. It's just a shorter walk. In fact all the parking lots thereabouts require a long walk to the launch.

It's impossible to predict SouthEast New England weather as exactly as we would like. Living only a few miles from the shore, I can't tell you what's going on there when it comes to wind.

West Dennis Beach was good today. South East brought some nice wind swell.
