Wow, really?? From your avatar I take it you're sailing in the Gorge area like me... for me this year has been fantastic so far... last weekend was the first one I didn't get out, picked the wrong spot. Other than that, been getting out consistently since mid Feb... looks like a great weekend coming up, easterly on Sat, west on Sunday. I'm really surprised that you'd say its not been a good winter/spring, unless you're not talking about the wind. Everyone I've talked to has remarked just the opposite. Maybe your work schedule has been conflicting with the wind machine! |

I sailed a couple of the easterlies in feburary, but zip for march. It's all a sob story, wife nagging, kids crying, too many sunny vacations and damn snow for most of march.
oh and i broke my 430 mast on one of those days, near 38 degree water...lucky i was on shore. |

Sunday looks like 22-26 in the central gorge starting in the early afternoon, quickly moving east. If (always an if, eh?) the timing is perfect - The Dalles hits 80 and the cold front moves in fast - we could see upper twenties. Cross your fingers.
Monday brings colder weather and strong winds in the eastern gorge. Upper twenties at Arlington in the afternoon.
I think Laura and I are going to try for the Arlington soul/solo session on Monday.
Have fun!
