I recommend Waquoit Bay, it's quite beautiful. Lemme know if you want tips on how to get there, it's kind of hidden. You could also go in the pond at Chappoquoit in West Falmouth.

I'd love to know how to get too it, so far all I've heard is that it's "hard access"; thats about it. What winds is it good in?

Waquoit Bay is a wildlife refuge bordering on Vineyard Sound. It is the place on the Cape that most resembles the Cape Hatteras landscape with open Ocean (Vineyard Sound - South Cape Beach) a sand dune, and then a enclosed lagoon. The lagoon is pretty shallow in places. and this has become a fave among kiteboarding beginners who need a place to hone their skills. Best wind direction is in our prevailing South West Wind. I have been there on Saturdays in July and found solitude. This is because it is a little hard to find. So to avoid the lambast from people who like to keep their secret spot secret, I will send you a Private Message on how to get there.

Jean
