Always love to see the "victory at sea" painting in living color. 3/16/08: Zuma and Broad Beach "down there".

me trying to get out. it was tricky, since it was blowing 27 but with an 8 mph south current. There were definitely some 10 foot faces that day.

Sweet. Nice pics. That sure looks like some fun. What size sail were you out on?

A really great start to the spring season. Thursday to MONDAY (Monday was awesome at Topanga, only two of us out). I have gotten no work done at all, but I can't let an opportunity to sail go by without going for it. By the way Nealpar thanks for the pictures, I recognise myself with the white hat on the orange top sail. County Line, as usual, kicked my butt. I have always maintained that County is the poor man's Jalama.

When there are wind and waves (even large windswell works), Topanga is such a fun place to sail. Such a pity the wind does not fill in there as often as it does at Leo/County Line.

Thanks for the Huntington shots. It looks even more "CHURNY" down there than at County Line, although my picture of County is deceiving. It was much more challenging on Sunday than it looks on the picture.

Wow, that looks like some pretty exciting conditions. Bigger than County Line on Sunday. I'll have to make the drive down there some time.
